Inspired by the big fashion photographers of the 90's, my goal is to capture the same essence in my images of that era; Raw, pure and fairly unaltered.
My name is Damon, born and raised in the Netherlands and in my work I thrive for a true representation of anyone who steps in front of my lens. using monochrome to strip away all distractions and make it purely revolve around my subject. no flashy filters or heavy photoshopping will be used. only simple contrast adjustments and a flair of grain to give it that raw 90's aesthetic.
one of the most important things for me is to get the person in front of me comfortable. in my believe, you can't create great photos without a connection with your subject. therefore, I always work in a relaxed and easygoing manner to make my subject feel at ease and most importantly, confident.
